Firdaus graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from University of Tasmania. He is admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.​

Firdaus also has a background in business management and during his traineeship, he assisted in a variety of criminal and civil litigation matters. ​
