Work Experience
Syed Alwee has been with the Singapore Legal Service for over 30 years, for the most part of which he sat on the bench as a district judge. Since his retirement from the Singapore Legal Service, Syed Alwee has undertaken several high profile cases, including a recent case where he represented Malaysia’s former chief justice Tun Ahmad Fairuz Sheikh Abdul Halim in the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Lingam video clip.
